Every home we touch begins with your story. Whether you're building around pieces you already love or starting fresh, we’ll craft something that feels warm, meaningful, and completely yours. We’re with you from early planning and coordination to selecting finishes and final details, with craftsmanship, authenticity, and care at every step.
Megan Long Interior Design offers full-service interior design, specializing in home renovations, new construction, and historic home restorations. Proudly serving Knoxville, Chattanooga, and greater East Tennessee, we create spaces that reflect who you are, support how you live, and stand beautifully for years to come.

Megan's love for creating meaningful spaces started long before she became a designer. Growing up, she spent weekends antiquing with her parents, developing an appreciation for quality craftsmanship and authenticity that still guides her work today. She launched her own studio in 2020, after 20 years of building up her expertise and relationships in the industry, and has been pouring herself into every project since.
Megan has a gift for helping clients discover their own style and then bringing that vision to life. She immerses herself in every project, getting to know you personally and working alongside your architects and contractors from the earliest decisions to the final layered touches. Over the years, she has built strong relationships with local craftsmen and artisans who share her commitment to quality. Whatever your style, she finds the craftsmanship and details that give a home character and depth, creating spaces that feel storied and lived-in, even when they're brand new. Her passion for storytelling through restoration carries into her personal life, where she is currently breathing new life into a pre-Civil War farmhouse.
Whether it's a new build, a restoration, or bringing new life to a cherished home, Megan approaches every project with the same dedication: creating homes with meaning, beauty, and soul that feel uniquely yours.

Every project begins with a conversation. We'd love to hear about yours.
Megan Long Interior Design offers full-service interior design based in Knoxville, Tennessee. Founded by Megan Long in 2020, Megan specializes in home renovations, new construction, and historic home restorations across Knoxville, Walland, Chattanooga, and greater East Tennessee.
We offer three core services: full-service home renovations, new construction interior design, and historic home restorations. Each project is managed from the first conversation through final installation, including space planning, material and finish selection, custom furnishings, contractor coordination, and styling.
We proudly serve clients in Knoxville, Walland, Chattanooga, and the greater East Tennessee region. We also work with clients who are relocating to the area, including those building in communities like Arcadia Peninsula, and can accommodate virtual collaboration in the early stages of a project.
Megan immerses herself personally in every project. Rather than starting with a style, she starts with you, learning how you live, what you love, and what story you want your home to tell. Through trusted relationships with local craftsmen, artisans, and trade partners, she creates homes that feel soulful and lived-in, even when they're brand new.
Every project begins with a Discovery Call. It's a chance for us to get to know you, hear about your vision, and explore whether we're a great fit. From there, we'll schedule an in-home or site visit to see your space and begin shaping your design direction. Reach out to book your call, and we'd love to hear about your home.
The personal attention given to detail. What separates good from great is usually the little things. Megan listens to what you want and turns your vision into something tangible, and then the magic comes with the fine tuning of an idea into something unique to you!
